First part of an interview typically consists of reviewing information, that you provided in your CV. You will be asked to talk about yourself, your education and previous work experience. Therefore it is very important to provide truthful and accurate information in your CV.
Apart from facts stated in your CV, employers tend to focus on any time gaps between jobs and ask you to explain them. Maybe you were taking time off to travel or it took you longer to find a job that you like, think about the reason before the interview. Staying silent when asked a quesion doesnt give a good impression.
What do you consider to be your biggest achievment and why?
Do not be shy to emphasise your skills and achievements at the interview. A good example is how you overame your fears or turned your weakness into a strenght. For example, if you were afraid to present in front of a larger audience and you managed to give an important presentation, do not hesitate to talk about it How do you cope with stress?
The best way to demonstrate this is via using an example from your previous work place. If you dont have any, you can use an example from your studies. You can talk about dealing with a difficult customer or handling an official customer complaint. Generally, anything that was outside you comfort zone.
How did you handle conflict within a team?
Think of a situation from your previous job, such as co-worker who wasnt doing a fair share of work or disagreement with your supervisor. If you didnt experience such a situation in the past, think about how you would approach it in case it happened. This question provides an insight, whether you will be a good fit to the team.
Describe a situation which you think you didnt handle correctly and explain what you would do differently.
It is very important for employers to see ,that you are able to learn from your own mistakes or that you cope well with constructive feedback.
What inspires and motivates you in a job?
You can use various examples such as self improvement in both, personal as well as professional sphere, learning possibilies, atmoshpere at a workplace, team events as a way to strenghten relationships in the team and to improve cooperation etc. It is however not recommended to immediately mention financial compensation /salary, financial or non financial bonuses/.
What could possibly be a reason for you to quit your job?
Employers usually ask this question to find out what is important for their future employees and what they can do to keep employee satisfaction. Its understandable that bad relationship at a workplace or zero possibilities for career growth make people frustrated, feel free to mention them. However, talking about salary increase right away is not recommended.

Its important that you are well familiar with the job description. Employers want to see that you do not apply for just any job, but you have certain motivations for this particular position.What are your salary expectations?
The best way to estimate your salary is to do a little market research in order to set realistic expectations. In Slovakia, we talk about the amount before tax , however in some countries it is typical to provide numbers after tax.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Interviewing manager would like to see your career aspirations. It is to your advantage to have a certain vision, as it makes you look more confident and ambitious.
At the end you will be allowed some time to ask the interviewing manager questions. Please note, that the nature of questions you ask, gives the emoployer additional information about you. Not asking any questions could be interpreted as low interest. On the other hand, asking too many questions may not be possible due to limited time managers have set for each candidate.

- How long does it take to start working independently/How long does education process last?
- Is there a dress code?
